The Role of GIS in the Digitalization of Rail Baltica Construction Supervision
Rail Baltica is the largest greenfield high-speed rail megaproject in the Baltics connecting three Baltic states with the EU’s core rail network corridor. The purpose of the presentation is to demonstrate how the integration of GIS, BIM, LiDAR, photogrammetry and other remotely collected data allows real-time assessment of the progress and quality of the construction works of Rail Baltica. To show how GIS becomes a tool for communication with participants of the construction process.
