Ieva Ilves

Ieva Ilves is a cybersecurity and digital policy expert with three decades of experience in foreign and security policy, digital transformation, and cyber resilience. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion, she has been actively supporting Ukraine, advising the Ministry of Digital Transformation and cybersecurity institutions.

Alongside this, she leads cybersecurity education initiatives in Riga and Kyiv and serves on the board of Latvia’s National AI Centre. Ieva has played a key role in shaping Latvia’s cybersecurity landscape, including leading the country’s first cybersecurity strategy and contributing to the establishment of NATO’s Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence in Riga.
