Every cycleway, measured

To plan a bicycle network, like with any other kind of planning, you first need data on what’s already there. How many km of bicycle roads does your city already have? How many conform to European recommendations? How expensive would it be to collect the missing data? Thankfully there is OpenStreetMap and existing editors that not only reduce the costs to zero (except time and volunteers), but also scale to other cities as well. Let’s see how we have been classifying and measuring the bike roads in Tallinn.
